Time for a Pause :(

Well, it had to happen. I’ve been distracted by ham radio events and prepping for a long-awaited vacation and not much has happened to the layout. Unfortunately, this is the main season for major ham events (not that there aren’t more later in the year) and it takes a certain amount of time and effort to prep for each one. That said, I hope to finish the lower level of layout plywood by the end of February. Then the major work for the next several months is building turnouts and structures.

Of course, plans can change. I’ve had ideas about painting the plywood to look a little like earth and then building the divider backdrop before the cold weather sets in again.

Before that all happens though, I stll need to finish the lower level plywood, don’t I :)
